Judy E. Zehr
I specialize in helping people with food and weight issues. My focus is on improving self-care by building strong self-nurturing skills and positive body/self image by changing negative thinking and behavior patterns. I've worked in this field for over 15 years. Previously I was the behavioral coordinator for Kaiser Permanente's weight loss program, Freedom From Fat, and have served as a consultant to the American Dietetic Association's Lifesteps program. Currently I'm in private practice and serve as a facilitator for The Solution ( a weight management program) at Southwest Washington Medical Center.

Salem Hospital Nutrition Services
Registered Dietitian with 9 years' experience working with eating disorders.
I am also a Certified Diabetes Educator. I specialize in anorexia and bulimia and
see mostly teenagers and adults, but some children. I
work as part of a treatment team including the person's physician or other
health care provider, a therapist, the person with the eating disorder and (most of the time)
family. Because the primary treatment for an eating disorder is psychotherapy,
I request that anyone seeing me also be willing to work with a therapist.

Darlene Staffelbach
Dr. Staffelbach provides individual psychotherapy for women with eating disorders and body image distress. She works with the philosophy that eating disorders develop in the context of attempting to cope with other concerns. Her approach is very practical, with a focus on helping women to identify and better understand the personal meanings their eating behaviors hold for them. Increased understanding facilitates empowerment to then make other, healthier choices. Dr. Staffelbach is a Licensed Psychologist. She has experience providing eating disorder treatment in outpatient and partial hospital settings.
