Silent Tears

I have to hide these tears tonight;
the only way to win this fight.
I try so hard, but then they show;
the pain and suffering as they flow.

My silent tears rolling down my face.
The happiness that they erase.
The screaming voices deep within;
only give up when I give in.

The pain and torture must subside,
but it's hard to stop when it's from inside.
The rode I seem to always choose;
is the one that leads to self abuse.
