A Hidden Reality
by: Bec

Am i blind?
or do i deny what i see?
in the fear that one day i will recognise myself, and not be afraid anymore.
Do i hide?
or do i simply go unnoticed?
standing here shrinking within myself,
watching the spotlight pass my fragile frame by.
Is that a tear?
or just a drop of water in the ocean of indifferance i swim in?
saturated in sorrow,
silenced by my solitude.
Is that my voice?
do i truly own the words spoken by it?
As if reciting a script that has been editored,
to put at ease the onlookers sypathetic stares.
