Best Friends Forever

Thoughts, like shots of venom
burst through my mind,
cruel words of torture
seeming to still the time.
As darkness settles in
and fate has arrived
Ana and Buella appear-
suddenly I survive.
From laughter to apathy
who really cares?
To actually love
wouldn't be dared.
And yet I cling;
my best friends are here
I don't go anywhere without them,
they are always near.
