Broken Soul
by: Cally

A broken soul
at the end of her rope.
Not knowing where to turn,
and feeling no hope.

A purpose for her
she does not know.
She hangs on to life
barely, desperately so.

Will it ever get better?
Will the sun ever shine?
Or will life for her continue
on the same daily grind.

There must be joy
somewhere, someplace.
What she does not know
is that it requires God's grace.

For if she turns to him
and gives him her all,
Then she will discover
the purpose of her earthly call.

For then she will find
a joy beyond belief.
A life where there is happiness
and not only grief.

She can't turn away.
She must make the choice.
For then at last she will find her eternal peace
in her heavenly father's voice.
