Mirror, Mirror on the wall
by: Ericka

I stare at the gaunt girl,
and I wonder
how it got so out of control.
She is a prisoner in her own self
clung to her beliefs that she
is never good enough,
never thin enough.
She's starved herself so much,
she is a living skeleton.
She doesn't think for herself anymore.
Anorexia does that for her.
I stare at the girl for sometime more,
and I finally realize the girl,
Is me.
My reflection in the mirror.
