Oblivion
by: Ang

I observe all the others, so confident I surmise.
Walking so firmly, not missing a stride.

Who is this girl I see in the mirror?
What does she hold valuable?
What dreams are so dear?

This must be a dream...
But it appears so real,
Why don't I know?
Why can't I feel?

The haze grows thicker,
What can I do?
Then I see them all,
and wonder...why can't I be you?

You all seem so perfect.
But how can that be?
How are you all so calm,
When I won't even let myself BE.

Finally I find, a sense of worth.
Finally some purpose comes from my birth.
I have found a way to be someone!
Now I'm starting to see a glimpse of sun.

I Can be like you all, just you wait and see!
Why?
Do you ask, That's easy!
For who would want to be ME?!
