My Best Friend
by: Lindsey

My best friend is sick
What should I do?
My best friend is sick
But wait, I'm sick too
She took after me
Alone and afraid
Why couldn't I see
Her hidden pain
She helped me through
When I thought she was strong
Looking at her now
I must have been wrong
The secrets we keep
Need to said
These illusions we see
   Are all in our head
How do I cure
When the pain, I too, indure
My best friend is sick
What do I do?
My best friend is sick
But, wait, I'm sick too
