Who Am I?
by: Haley

Cluttered ice
Wearing the night
Clenching-burying
Begging Delight

Statuesque to smiling eyes
Performing for affection
The child answers breathless
Molding their perfection

A silent witness
Attending good-byes
Reaching-sinking
With veiled, brimming eyes

Fervent under awkward skin
Blowing in His dauntless wind
Misery shaped beautiful
In a mind inept to bend

A coiled essence
Dimensionless in fright
Fumbling for voice
Clouded and slight

Cradled in dimness
To repress a deafening roar
Demons pound on restless ribs
Boiling in the core
