little girl with her
clearance rack smile
and her resume filled
w/ peanut butter & jelly
she walks down the
streets of our lives
everyday and you
think she has it all
the car from toys r us
and the vintage clothes bought
with monopoly money
and maybe we'd all
know what she is hiding
behind those
baush & lomb brown eyes
but we're all too busy w/
our trendy coffee
and diet pills
to think about it
