Unhappy

if only someone can see
all the pain that is in me
my heart is bruised
i am confused
about this pain no-one does know
it is something i chose not to show
seems like i don't care
while inside i'm cringing from fear
wondering hoping i will wake up the next day
and everything will be okay
wanting to be loved for me
not for who i appear to be
for this disguise i do wear
as a different person i do appear
yet if you look deep down you'll see
i truly am unhappy
