On Recovery
by: Muffin

I seem to have misplaced myself.
I am no where to be found
I have look in hidden corners and up and down and all around
Underneath my fears and in between my shame
as I wandered to myself would I ever be the same.
I danced accross my dreams and they shrugged up to see
but no where is there a person who resembles anything like me
At last I glance behind me and see the person I was
I reach to grab her hand but she feels not the same
there has now grown to much neglected pain.
my hunger is thick and she offers me food but now
I know my huger is much more rich
I need somerhing more to feed my soul
As we walk away together we wave goodbye to the old
and look unward at what the future will hold
