Never Again
by: Britton

I was only losing face, chasing you around
And you were slowly winning, pushing me around
But the battle was never won or lost
Still I can't face how great the cost
I am not the only casualty, so I pray to see reality
I forgot what's real
and I forgot to feel
and lost so much more than i ever bargained for
so no more do i pray for self destruction
and no more will i hide away
Never again will I crave reduction
or beg to start over again
Never again will I pain myself
or beg forgiveness for nothing
I won't ever cleverly deceive myself
or think it will give me something
My body is mine
My heart is mine
Never again will I loath what's mine
It's over
I'm done
