TV MOVIE -- SHARING THE SECRET

CBS will broadcast a movie called Sharing The Secret, Wednesday, May 10 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) which is about a family dealing with the young teenage daughter's battle with bulimia. This movie addresses the fact that eating disorders are not about being thin, but rather about control and identity issues. The script was collaborated on with several eating disorders specialists from various accredited institutions treating the disorder. The executive producers and writers brought the script to women suffering from eating disorders to make sure it resonated with them and that we were portraying their plight correctly.
