PERFECTION
P eople look and hold silent expectations, higher than I am willing to
jump
E xperiencing my fear, blank insinuations of my life, expecting to
find the infallible
R unning into walls, leaving my life smeared with smelly paint fumes
permanently poisoning my displayed bones
F ighting continuously with the echoes of the eating beast-always
there, trying to drown out my powerful angelic voice
E rosion of my mind, body and soul, I am trying to bypass the rocks by
concentrating on what means the most-ME
C lose to chasing it away, seemingly a never ending chase of my own
existence
T oo much interference, black and white static, loosing the clear
reception I once had, but still trying to move the antennas to
see what I can
I ndecisiveness unravels my questions, my own expectations an
immeasurable overbalance, streaming beyond Heaven
O ngoing insistence from the outside, a friend connected permanently
to my heart, interrogating me, creatively searching for a
rational interpretation
N onetheless, giving up the notion of perfection, but hanging on to
the idea of happiness.
